In a dystopian future dubbed “the Era of the Storm,” Cloudwatcher Daniel Gloucester, with nothing but the advanced technology of the time period, the glasses on his dead father, and a raggedy copy of King Lear, must defend his city, St. Annapolis, from the most powerful storm that he has ever encountered and, possibly, that the planet has ever known.
